“Let us design a presentation that will politically educated & motivate your staff”
Since our inception in 1999, the Lobbyist Education Center (LEC) has worked hard to educate the voting public about lobbying and the important role that Legislative Advocacy plays not just in politics, but in protecting and expanding the rights enumerated in the US Constitution.
As such, the LEC is always looking for new and exciting ways to teach the public about lobbying and yes, how to get our graduates directly involved in the political process. With that in mind (and by request), we are rolling up our sleeves and expanding our programs with an ambitious “Corporate Seminar” program, with seminars that are specifically designed to meet the corporation’s specific enumerated needs.
Once the needs are identified and understood, the LEC can guarantee to not only educate and motivate at the highest professional levels, but will get your staff directly involved to help the company. The LEC will accomplish this by:.
- Training Board members, Staff and Employees how to write an effective letter to an elected official;
- Training Board members, Staff and Employees to make appointments with elected officials and staff;
- Helping Board members, Staff and Employees understand how to make a presentation to either an elected official, their staff or a legislative committee;
- Helping Board members, Staff and Employees find legislative proposals and issues that might affect the company’s business interests or operations.
The seminars are taught by Michael Ross, a seasoned political veteran with over 30 years of legislative experience. During that time, Michael has worked on the passage or defeat of over 2,500 bills, resolutions and amendments thanks to his lobbying in over 20 states and Congress. As a result of this experience, combined with recent teaching experiences, Michael is uniquely qualified to create a program that not only incorporates established business policies, but will educate and stimulate your staff in ways that will help your political position in the state.
